The Sacred Beast (神聖獣, Shinsei Kemono), sometimes just called Beast (獣, Kemono), is a world-renowned gang of Assassins with Class-A Bounties. its members go by the name of "Beasts". Most of them hail from Yorknew City.

Sacred Beast Before the Death of Barfo
The group consists of twelve members, all of whom are highly skilled Nen users. Each member has a numbered tattoo of their corresponding beast on their body. No one can just join the Sacred Beast they must be hired by Raion or his brother Kurokami. anyone who tries to join the group unwelcomed will be killed on sight.
Among their crimes was the massacre of the Eight Generals, committed only for the sake of retrieving there Nen Weapon's. They do use there abilities to help people as seen when the Phantom Troupe was attacking Vega Les the Sacred beast helped the people seek shelter.
The bond between members of the Beast a held sacred and members who misuse the trust of the group are not considered real members and are killed. In Raion eyes it doesn't how bad a person seems he will allow them into the group and trust them wholeheartedly.

Raion forms the Sacred Beast
The Sacred Beast and most of its members originate from the slums of Yorknew City. Sometime in the past, Raion Akuma formed the Sacred Beast with three other Yorknew City residents and left the city. The founding members of the Beast were Raion himself, Kurokami his brother, Barafo, Bai, Tori, Evan, Jager.

Other than themselves, the Sacred Beast occasionally asks for outsider assistance during their missions. Examples include:
- Hunter Vanguard: They're on good terms with the Beast willing to help them when needed.
- Maijen: The Sacred Beast intel informant.
Hierarchy and Rules[]
the Sacred Beast is composed of 17 members. All the members are equal in ranking and decisional power, and tasks are assigned based on each member's individual skills or volunteering. The leader, whose orders are to be considered the utmost priority; however, their life is not, since even the leader can be replaced. The members are expected to always adhere to the governing principle that the prosperity of the group as a whole trumps the survival of any one of its individuals, even taking matters into their own hands should the interests of the group and of the leader clash. In Raion's case, however, several members had come to be so reliant on him that his life was in fact elevated to the status of priority of the group.
The Sacred Beast do not always stay together, most of the times the members will live lives outside the beast. when the Beast do assemble they its usually because they have to kill multiple people or even a Beast. when the target/s are in small numbers usually Raion will just ask the closest member to take care of it which most happily do
Other than following the leader's directives, there are no specific lines of conduct that members are expected to follow. Although some members believe buying and bidding to be against the ways of the group, others have no qualms about resorting to legal, non-violent channels and transactions. It has been noted that two members are always by the Raions side when the Sacred Beast gathers, but it is unknown if that is an official rule.
Positions and Roles[]
Sacred Beast members are assigned to or volunteer for certain activities in the group based on their aptitude.
- Boss (団長, "Leader"): The leader of the Sacred Beast. Currently held by Raion Akuma.
- Acting Leader (団長代理, "Leader Substitute"): The interim leader of the Beasts when the leader is absent. This position was granted to Kurokami Akuma
- Assualt Team (特攻 or 実行部隊, "Vanguard/Attack Squad" or "Execution Squad"): Volunteers for this unit are frontline fighters. One of their main responsibilities consists in protecting the recon and cleanup groups. Formerly held by Ira Hatusna and Hebi Deku; currently held by Ira Hatusna, Kisame Sakana, and Kinochu Hado.
- Scouts (情報, "Intelligence"): Members in charge of information gathering.it's held by Kumo Ebu and Amatsu Akuma.
- Cleanup (処理部隊, "Disposing Squad"): Members in charge of removing the evidence of the group's criminal activity. Currently held by Hakuba Yaku
JanKen Po[]
Members of the Sacred Beast use janken po or Rock Paper Scissors to settle diffrences
Serious fights are prohibited among Sacred Beast members. Since no member outranks another, if a clash of opinions cannot be solved through discussion, Janken Po or Rock Paper Scissors is used to settle the quarrel. However, disputes solved by game are only between two members and not multiple.

Prior to the Rejoining of the Sacred Beast in Yorknew City, Raion sent members of the sacred beast to kill a member of the mafia. though Raion didn't know that the mafia member a hired some guards, the beast members that were sent died and Raion swore that day that no members would ever die agian
The Spiders Encounter[]

At some point prior to the Rejoining of the Sacred Beast in Yorknew City, Raion killed Troupe member #4 of the Troupe and fought with Chrollo Lucilfer. The outcome of the fight between them is unknown, although both survived with no apparent after-effects. It was presumably at that time that Raion became aware of the nature of Chrollo's Nen ability.
